FFI conflicts and gaps: 10 resolved conflicts and unknown fields
Ten Free Fire India conflicts, both claims and the conclusion adopted, the gaps public evidence cannot fill, and how the play-time limit was verified.
This page records the evidence conflicts this site has run into, and the gaps that public material still cannot fill. Its purpose is not a “confession list” but to let readers know which claims we changed, why we changed them and what they became, and which fields we would rather leave empty than fill. The judging standard is written in Research methodology; here we give only conclusions and the evidence behind them. All entries correspond to search results as of 2026-10-28, and client testing has still not been performed.
Conflicts found and handled one by one
The ten rows below are the conflicts handled one by one in this round of compilation. The “two claims” column keeps both sides as they were, and the “what this site adopted” column is the final wording; item 6 is still open and item 9 stays blank, while the other eight have been corrected.
| Conflict | The two claims | What this site adopted | Basis | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Release-date rumour | A media report published before the official announcement gave a date that was unconfirmed at the time; a later India official announcement declared the date | Follow the India official announcement | India official announcement | Corrected; an announcement is not proof of installation in the India region |
| Store age rating | The India FAQ says 16+/17+; the US Google Play listing seen this round says Teen | Note both regions and both labelling systems separately | The respective store and FAQ pages | Corrected; not interpreted as a legal age requirement |
| Map list | Historical support pages and catalogues list Alpine and Bermuda 2.0; global OB54 states they were removed | Adopt the OB54 removal | OB54 patch notes | Corrected in the map and version archives |
| M590 | An older announcement describes an explosive/splash mechanic; global OB52 removed it | Do not copy the old announcement into a current guide | OB52 patch notes | Corrected |
| Falco | The old skill sped up landing; it was later reworked to disable enemy auto-aim while dropping | Adopt the reworked description | Official historical patch notes | Corrected |
| Legacy character pages | Old skills on accessible character pages; new descriptions in later rework patches | Label as web archive, not as verified current values | Chrono/Ford/A124/Steffie pages and rework patches | Kept as an open item |
| Customer-service scope | Some India support pages have no body text; catalogue titles imply the same rules | Re-label the affected answers as global reference | Page opens with no body text, visible only in search results | Corrected |
| Event dates | An event database may count from the knockout stage; official livestreams show Play-Ins and a group stage existed earlier | List by stage, not merged into a single start date | Official livestreams | Corrected |
| Event placements | Third-party results are zero-point placeholders or contradict other reports | Do not fill in unconfirmed champions and points | No trustworthy first-hand result | Left blank |
| OB55 date | Global announcement date 2026-09-10; the text mentions October 1 | Adopt the announcement date, read October 1 as “the date some content was added” | OB55 announcement body | Corrected |
A few rows need further explanation:
- Store age rating is the row most easily misread. The 16+/17+ in the India FAQ and the Teen on the US store page are neither the same region nor the same labelling system, and converting them into an “Indian legal age” is wrong. India version age and spending limits are covered in India version rules.
- The map list correction lives in Map change records. Following the OB54 record, this site no longer lists Alpine or Bermuda 2.0 as active maps.
- M590 is a weapon-mechanic change that affects “how you fight”, so it is explained in Weapon mechanics rather than mentioned only in passing on a map or version page.
- Legacy character pages is the only conflict kept as an open item. A124 and Steffie have official rework patches, while the Chrono and Ford pages may still lag; the handling for such entries is to label them “web archive” rather than delete them, see Character skills catalogue.
- Event dates and placements are viewed separately: dates can be reconstructed by stage from official livestreams, placements cannot. A zero-point placeholder means the database has not filled the value in, not that the score really is zero. Format details are in Tournament formats and rules.
Gaps public evidence cannot fill yet
The following fields have no first-hand India official wording within this round’s search, and global material cannot be safely generalised, so they are all left blank or marked “unverified”:
- Actual installation in the FFI India region, first-launch resource size, currently supported devices, frame-rate tiers and server latency.
- Whether accounts, inventory, Diamonds, friends and progress are shared between FFI and MAX.
- The actual availability of every character and pet in the India version, their current skill values and their local-language names.
- The current map rotation, loot probabilities, actual weapon damage and armour interaction in the India version.
- Current pass prices, random pool odds and guarantees, membership benefits, and the list of authorised top-up sellers.
- The exact timing and spending thresholds of the restrictions for minors, and the guardian’s actual operating flow (the play-time part has been verified, see the next section).
- Commercial-use licensing of assets that would apply generally to Indian fan sites, and licensing for third-party community events.
- Historical announcements that cannot be read, and future schedules or characters not yet announced.
How was the India daily play-time limit verified?
This is one of the few fields in this batch that moved from “unknown” to “an official number”, and the process deserves a note of its own because it shows the correct order for filling a gap.
| Stage | What was recorded | Handling |
|---|---|---|
| Before verification | Early documents listed “the specific daily play time” as an unknown field | Write only “not disclosed officially”, with no guessed value |
| Trigger | A later read of the India official Play It Right page on 2026-10-28 | Treat the page body as the only basis |
| After verification | 6 hours a day for general users; 3 hours a day under 18; after the limit, wait for the time window to reset | Written into the India version rules entry |
| Still unknown | Spending cap amount, the exact reset moment, cross-device timing | Still marked unknown |
Two boundaries to add. First, the body date of that page is 2026-10-27, and this site cites what the page states without inferring an earlier or later effective time. Second, the page also states that red blood and some visual effects are replaced with less intense presentations; that is an official description, but the actual client presentation is still untested. Play-time conclusions are in India version rules.
Evidence level: India official — the 6 hours a day / 3 hours under 18 figures come from the body of the India official Play It Right page and are among the few fields on this page that can be used directly as India-server facts.
Reasonable boundaries added later
This research covers the first batch of material for a guide and information site and does not claim to exhaust the whole game’s history. Transcribing hundreds more old patches year by year would certainly add length, but it would repeat the same kinds of facts and would not close the current India-version gaps above. So the boundary is drawn here:
- The fields above are to be filled primarily through client testing and India official statements; historical text, developer explanations and official videos can still be searched further.
- This record is not a conclusion that “everything has been searched”. It means “this is how far we have checked”, not “this is all the public material there is”.
- The source index collects addresses that were cited in the material; it does not mean every page was checked against the current client.
- Different language or regional versions are not merged into one fact. The same mechanic may be worded differently on English, Indonesian and Spanish pages, and each is kept separately.
- Topics contain overlapping facts, so entry counts cannot be added together as the number of independent facts.
For pet and character gaps see Pet system, for version changes see Versions and events archive, and for esports blanks see the India esports archive. All three are typical of “write as much as can be written, mark what cannot be written as unknown”.
Sources and limitations
Every conflict on this page corresponds to at least one of the pages below, which can be clicked to verify:
- India official Play It Right (India official, body date 2026-10-27)
- India official announcement (India official)
- India official FAQ (India official, 16+/17+ rating label)
- OB54 patch (historical version, map removals)
- OB52 patch (historical version, M590 mechanic removal)
- OB55 update (historical version, announcement date 2026-09-10)
- A124 and Steffie rework patch (historical version)
- Google Play product page (India store page; rating differs by region)
Still unverified: none of the “still unknown” fields listed on this page has a first-hand source, including FFI–MAX interoperability, current India-version skill values, current prices and odds, the guardian flow and asset commercial licensing; event placements stay blank, with no unconfirmed champion or points added. Exactly which content the October 1 date in OB55 belongs to is recorded only as the announcement words it, without item-by-item comparison. The complete raw list is in the repository files research/10-冲突与缺口记录.md and research/11-来源索引.md.
