Frequently asked questions
Common questions about Free Fire India, and about how this site verifies and labels its sources.
What is Free Fire India?
Free Fire India (FFI) is a standalone Garena app for the Indian market, package name com.garena.game.ffi. The official notice says it became downloadable on Google Play and the App Store from 2026-10-28, with local Indian events and play-time management features.
Is FFI the same game as global Free Fire?
Do not assume so. They are separate apps, and version cadence, events, store content and some rules can differ. This site labels anything sourced from the global build as Global reference rather than treating it as FFI fact.
Is this site based on in-client testing?
Not entirely. We use official web pages, notices, store listings and official videos as primary sources and stamp each page with a verification date. Anything not yet confirmed in the FFI client is marked as unverified instead of being presented as fact.
Does the India build have play-time limits?
The official page states 6 hours per day for general users and 3 hours for users under 18. The spending cap amount and reset time are not published, so this site does not guess them.
Where are the redeem codes?
There is no codes page. Codes we have not personally verified are not published — that is the site's hard rule: better to have no page than a fake code.
How do I report a mistake or suggest a correction?
Every page shows when it was last checked. If something looks out of date, open an issue on the project repository (github.com/w6g2000/freefireindia-wiki) with the page URL, the fact you believe is wrong and a source; the contact page lists the same channel. Corrections are folded into the next verification pass.
