Free Fire India Craftland: editor, creator incentives and work limits

The Craftland editor, membership and AI tools, creator levels, custom economy and Battlefield Code as the official patches state them, plus why works are UGC.

Craftland is the creation system in Free Fire: players build maps and gameplay with an editor, and everyone else enters through a map list or a code. Its biggest difference from Battle Royale (BR) and Clash Squad (CS) is that most of what you play is not designed by the official team but is user-generated content (UGC). This page collects the features the official patches confirm, in patch order, and marks separately whether the standalone India version has these entry points on launch day, because there is no first-hand source for that at all.

What exactly is Craftland?

On the mode table of the India version’s Google Play product page, Craftland is described as letting you create playable maps and custom gameplay, and the copy also says there are more than 50 interactive objects. That is a claim in store copy and belongs to the product description; it is not a number taken from an inventory of the client.

Evidence level: India official — The store page states outright that the mode exists and how it is positioned; “more than 50 interactive objects” is a copy statement and has not been tested in the client.

What this confirms is the positioning: creatable, playable, custom gameplay. What it does not confirm is the editor’s actual capabilities, the publishing conditions, the review flow, the form a work’s code takes, or whether that number equals the object count of the current version.

The works are user-generated content — what does that settle?

It settles four things, and each one affects how a guide has to be written:

  • The rules are configured by the creator. The same Craftland map may have changed shop prices, spawn points or win conditions, so the rules of one work cannot be written up as “general Craftland rules”.
  • Quality and compliance are constrained by the publishing flow. Whether a work can go live or may be taken down depends on the publishing and review mechanism, not on official level design.
  • The content changes. Creators can update maps, and the official side also adjusts how detail pages are displayed, so a guide has to carry a date.
  • Official endorsement cannot be assumed. When you hit a strange piece of gameplay, check the creator information first instead of assuming it is an official event.

So what this page covers is “how to find it, how to read it, how to check it”, not “the optimal way to play Craftland”.

The editor and creator incentives: what did the 2024 announcement record?

The official patch notes (the page dates from around 2024) record that Craftland has map and mode editing, a map list and a published list on the profile page, recommendation notifications, editor reward incentives and a feedback entry, and they introduce the CS template and a configurable shop.

That proves these features were once announced for the corresponding global version; it does not prove that today’s India server editor keeps all of them, and it does not prove that the reward thresholds match. “Editor reward incentives” especially — the announcement mentions that incentives exist but gives no amount, settlement cycle or regional difference, and this page does not fill that in.

Evidence level: Global reference — A global version announcement, not tested on the India server.

Membership and AI tools: why can availability in India not be promised?

The OB50 patch notes (2025-07-30) say Craftland Membership unlocks exclusive content, lets you make member-only content and earn rewards, but only in some regions; the same version also added English-prompt 3D object generation, AI track generation, custom events and autosave.

The key is that phrase “only in some regions”. The official side limited the scope itself, so any claim that “membership can be bought in India” or “AI generation already works” lacks a first-hand basis. Confirming it means only looking at whether the FFI client has the corresponding entry point and whether the store lists the product.

Evidence level: Global reference — The OB50 announcement states limited regional availability outright; it cannot be extended to India.

Creator levels, following and map data (OB54)

The OB54 patch notes (2026-06-23) say a Creator level and an exclusive icon were added, along with level-related benefits and official support, following creators and map update notifications; maps show how many times they have been played, and the editor tutorial, cover aspect ratio and feedback screenshots were also improved.

The practical use for readers is judging how trustworthy a work is: creator information, play counts and a follow relationship are more reliable than an unsigned screenshot. But this is a global version announcement and does not mean the standalone India client currently has the same entry points or benefits.

Custom economy and gameplay: a historical 2022 feature

The Booyah Day patch notes (a 2022 version announcement) once explained that Craftland can configure shop currency output, items and prices, and supports multiple shops and most weapon equipment; the same announcement also lists vehicle support, weekly Free Plays and quick map join.

That record is a good way to show Craftland’s capability boundary — it is not only about placing objects, it can also change the economy. But it is a historical version feature and cannot be used to describe current creation permissions, free plays or the supplies players can buy.

Evidence level: Historical version — A 2022 version announcement; it may have been changed since.

OB55 map details, sharing and Battlefield Code

The global OB55 update of 2026-09-10 mentions that Craftland map details show creator information and support sharing and copying a Battlefield Code.

The direct effect on how a guide is written: treat “copy the code and enter the room” as a step to be verified, not as a feature that exists by default. If a reader cannot find the copy entry in the India version, that is not a mistake on their part but a version or region difference. The global official site’s version timeline itself does not prove that FFI uses the same version either, and that point is covered in full in versions and events archive.

Want to build something in Craftland? What order should you follow?

  1. First confirm in the FFI client whether the Craftland entry exists and whether the mode selection lists it.
  2. Find a work with the map search or a code, and check the creator information and play count before entering.
  3. When creating a custom room, confirm the mode, player count and rule settings; do not assume it matches the last match.
  4. If you want to create, read the editor tutorial first, and note the requirements for cover aspect ratio and feedback screenshots.
  5. Before publishing, confirm the feedback entry and the review description; do not mistake “can save” for “can go live”.
  6. Record the version number and the test date in your own notes.

For general knowledge at the map level, see map overview and landmarks; the shops and currency inside Craftland are creation configuration and are not the same thing as the real economy, whose boundaries are in reward economy and draws. The general procedure for judging whether an entry point exists in FFI at all is written up in research methodology.

Not verified:

  • Whether the standalone India version has the editor, the publishing flow, the review rules and work codes has no first-hand source at all.
  • “The India version already had these features on launch day” cannot be inferred; this page only records global version announcements, which do not equal the current state of FFI.
  • Whether Craftland Membership can be bought in India, at what price, and with which benefits are all unconfirmed.
  • Whether the AI generation tools and autosave are open to India is unconfirmed.
  • The concrete form and thresholds of the editor reward incentives, and whether more than 50 interactive objects is the current count, are both unconfirmed.
  • This page states no price, probability or reward value.
