Free Fire India reward economy: passes, Luck Royale and Gold
Pass name boundaries, daily task claim deadlines, Luck Royale pool types, paid skin stats and the per-match Gold cap, as the official help centre states them.
The reward economy is the part most likely to be written up as folklore: someone says a certain wheel has a pity timer, someone else posts a “guaranteed order” chart, and someone else promises free Diamonds. This page only collects the mechanics that the official help centre and patch notes state outright, and puts “the official sources do not disclose this in full” at the very front. Every rule carries a date — a page’s publication date does not mean the rule is still in force today.
Why does this page not give odds or prices?
Three reasons. First, the official help page describing Luck Royale says outright that the pool gives items at random from a specified list, but it does not provide the odds for any pool. Second, several FAQs state themselves that “the number of draws and the rewards may change”, which means an old page’s structure cannot be used to infer the current cost. Third, the standalone India version’s store, taxes, top-up tiers and refund outcomes have no complete list in the official FAQ.
So the principle this site follows is: confirm the mechanic, do not infer the number; state the boundary, do not promise free Diamonds. The official help page on how to get free items says itself that it does not provide free Diamonds, so that point needs no further explanation.
Evidence level: India official — The official FAQ only confirms that currency and tools can be obtained in-game and that Diamonds can be bought with real money; it does not disclose full prices, random item probabilities or refund outcomes.
Are Fire Pass and Booyah Pass the same thing?
They cannot be treated as one. A Garena official help article (2022-01-14) calls that period’s monthly task rewards the Free Fire Pass: completing free tasks and earning badges lets you claim free rewards, and it says the rewards were updated monthly at the time; the corresponding Hindi page for India (2022-01-18) also keeps the Fire Pass wording. These sources prove that the old pass task-reward mechanic existed. They do not prove that the India version in 2026 still uses this name, this monthly cycle, or the same tier and reward structure.
On Booyah Pass, no readable official statement was found in this pass that confirms its rules in the standalone India version at that time. All that can be confirmed is an earlier record: the Vietnam official OB40 update flow of 2023-05-29 already lists it as a feature, and later patches keep mentioning it — but that only shows it existed at the time; it is neither first-release evidence nor India-version evidence.
Evidence level: Historical version — The Fire Pass name and monthly cycle are 2022 records; Booyah Pass’s current rules have to be verified on the pass page in the India client.
Do daily task rewards expire?
They do. The official Free Fire Events help page (updated 2026-02-23) explains that Daily Task is an event type where you claim a reward after completing the task, and it specifically notes that the reward must be claimed manually and that an unclaimed reward may be lost with no compensation. The same page lists login rewards, Web Events opened in a browser, and single or cumulative top-up rewards as separate event types.
What this rule means in practice: finishing the task is not the same as receiving the reward — you have to open the event page and tap claim. The specific tasks, deadlines and rewards still follow the event page inside your account; the help page is only a description of the flow.
What is Luck Royale: a random pool, not a shop
The official events help page (2026-02-23) says Luck Royale (for example Gold, Weapon, Faded Wheel) gives items at random from a specified reward list, and that the list can be viewed through More Info. In other words, it is not a “pick it and get it” shop. Before buying, check the pool, the price and the event end time shown in the client. That description does not provide the odds for any pool.
How is the Faded Wheel draw structured?
The Hindi Faded Wheel FAQ in the India official help centre (2021-12-08) records one structure: before the wheel starts, 2 items are removed from the pool, leaving 8; each item drawn leaves the pool, and after 8 draws you hold all 8 items; the price per draw rises step by step, and the grand prize is obtained at the latest on the final draw.
What this confirms is the structure, not the cost: the FAQ gives no fixed Diamond price and no odds. The current event interface takes priority.
Evidence level: Historical version — A 2021 FAQ’s draw structure; the current pool and prices have to be checked in the client.
What does Gold Royale use to draw?
The India Gold Royale FAQ (2021-12-08) records: draws use Gold or tickets; single draws and ten-draws are available, and a ten-draw gives one extra draw; there is one free draw per day; the grand prize is a permanent outfit and the other prizes are usually time-limited; it gives examples of extra rewards on the 1st, 10th and 30th draws, and the article states that the number of draws and the rewards may change. The current pool contents and mechanics may already have changed.
How are duplicate skins handled in Weapon Royale?
The official Weapon Royale FAQ (2021-12-08) says the pool is mainly weapon skins, can use Diamonds or tickets, and offers single or ten draws; duplicate skins were converted to FF Tokens under the rules of the time, for use in the exchange store. The article also states clearly that tickets may have no expiry or may carry an expiry date, and that expired tickets are used up first. The reward rounds, conversion rules and pools all follow the current interface.
How does the Incubator exchange for the grand prize?
The official Incubator FAQ (2021-12-08) explains: use Diamonds or Incubator tickets to draw blueprints, evolution stones and so on, then exchange them for an outfit or weapon skin according to the grand prize’s requirements; exchanging for a grand prize requires a specified quantity of materials, each grand prize can only be exchanged once in its period, and the FAQ calls the exchanged grand prize a permanent item. Tickets may have an expiry date, and the interface shows when that period ends. Material quantities and the specific pools are rotating content, so the current cost cannot be inferred from an old FAQ.
Magic Cube and fragments
The India official fragment exchange FAQ (2021-12-08) says 100 Cube Fragments can be exchanged for 1 Magic Cube in Store → Redeem → Cube Fragment, and notes that an exchange with insufficient fragments raises an error. What the Magic Cube shop offers, the fragment acquisition rate and the current menu are not fixed by that page.
Do paid skins always add stats?
Not necessarily, but it is equally wrong to say “skins never affect stats”. The official Weapon Skins help page (2021-12-08) separates time-limited and permanent skins, and says some functional skins change stats such as damage, fire rate, range, reload, ammo, accuracy, armour penetration or movement speed, with examples that include both a benefit and a cost.
The conclusion: a specific weapon skin’s stats have to be read from that item’s details and the current version — you cannot infer from the word “skin” that every appearance adds stats, and you cannot assert the opposite either. For the weapon-level classification, see weapon catalog and official descriptions.
What can be confirmed about memberships, subscriptions and achievements?
The India official Weekly/Monthly Membership 2.0 FAQ (Hindi, 2021-12-07; the article says it launched after the 2021-09-28 update) records weekly and monthly memberships, daily claims, Super-VIP, member discount stores and make-up claim cards. The Diamond amounts, value estimates and make-up scope listed there are all rules of that time; prices and benefits have to be confirmed inside the India game.
The Subscription Centre FAQ (Hindi, 2021-12-06) is explicitly marked “India only” and discusses weekly subscription auto-renewal, daily claims and the cancellation path, and records that a bank card had to be verified at the time. This is an old page and does not constitute a current payment promise; before subscribing, check the subscription status, cycle and price in Google Play or the App Store. For minor spending and play-time limits, see India version rules.
On achievements, the official Achievements help page (2024-06-05) lists categories such as Dominator, Best Pal, Sharpshooter, Wrestler, Peacemaker, Ninja, Guerrilla, Uncrowned and Chainkiller, and gives different conditions for Battle Royale (BR) and Clash Squad (CS) — for example, Best Pal in BR requires at least 8 assists or reviving teammates 3 times, and Sharpshooter requires long-distance kills. These thresholds should be read against the page’s current version, and there is no proof that every mode and threshold is identical in the India client.
Evidence level: Historical version — Membership and subscription rules are 2021 records; achievement thresholds are 2024 records.
How much Gold can one match give, and what changed in match mechanics?
The official “I’m not earning gold after the match ends” FAQ (2021-12-06) says the daily Gold cap from matches at the time was 800, that no further Gold is earned after reaching it, and that the results page example shows it as x/800. That number only represents the 2021 rule and cannot be taken as the current value; the current cap should be read from the results screen or from India-supported updates.
The BR revival mechanic is described more fully in the 2026 OB52 announcement (2026-01-09): in Lone Wolf you can use one early revival protection within the specified time, and you can capture revival points to obtain a Revival Card; in Duo/Squad, meeting conditions such as teammates staying alive within the first 180 seconds can trigger one team revival countdown; the announcement also distinguishes Revival Point from Advanced Revival Point and the equipment they provide.
Evidence level: Global reference — OB52 is a global version announcement; whether the India version shipped it at the same time, the opening times per mode and the revival equipment all have to be re-checked in the client.
The historical changes to revival points come from different patches and cannot be stitched together: the Booyah Day patch records adding pillar cover to revival points, fixing their positions, and raising the number on specified maps from 8 to 12; another Rampage patch announcement records that period’s capture time going from 14 seconds to 33 seconds, the cooldown going from 150 seconds to 180 seconds, and the points per match dropping from 9 to 8. Stitching those numbers into one “current rule set” is the most common mistake.
On healing and projectiles, the OB55 announcement (2026-09-10) divides devices into active and passive types and lists the combinations you can carry; that version’s CS adds the Flame Grenade and Sonar Grenade and adjusts the Smoke Grenade, and the announcement also gives specific values such as damage and scan radius — those values only correspond to the modes and version the announcement describes, and this page does not rewrite them as general values.
Ground loot has a similar historical record: the Booyah Day patch once added the Gloo Melter, Treatment Laser Gun, Marksman Foregrip, Shotgun Stock and Shield Gun to BR, and removed the Vest Thickener, Shotgun Muzzle and Double Magazine. That can serve as evidence of item names and change history; it cannot be taken as the current drop list.
When rules conflict, in what order should you check?
In the order “client interface → India official announcement or customer service reply → global patch notes”. The client is the only place that can confirm current prices, pools and probability disclosure; a global patch only says how some version used to be. The method is written up in research methodology, and logged gaps are in conflict and gap log.
