Free Fire India Map Overview: Solara Landmarks and Bermuda Spots

Map names found in official material, the 8 Solara landmarks, Bermuda areas named in patch notes, and the 12 fields a map guide must record. Rotation needs testing.

This page collects the map names that can be confirmed from the official map page and announcements, the Solara landmark list, the Bermuda areas named and changed in announcements, and the fields needed when writing a map guide. It does not answer “which map is the most loot-rich right now”: the current rotation, whether the India client includes a given map, and the real-time loot situation at each landmark have no first-hand source yet.

Which map names appear in official material?

  • Solara: the official map blurb describes it as a port city with a winding coastline, connected across the whole map by a rail system.
  • Bermuda and Bermuda Remastered: Bermuda has a large record of announcements (spots such as Peak, Clock Tower, Mill, Hangar); the official map point page has a detail entry for “Bermuda Remastered – Hangar”.
  • Kalahari: the official announcement describes it as a map with distinctive landmarks, containing Free Fire story clues and dense combat activity, but that announcement does not explain landmark functions one by one.
  • Purgatory: the 2018 official release announcement confirms it went live and explains that Zipline on the map is used for fast movement.
  • Alpine: the announcement mentions new player launchers around Blue Ville, Rye and Dock, usable for fast repositioning.
  • NeXTerra (Farmtopia): the official source says there are an activated carousel and a second-floor moving platform here.

One warning has to be added immediately: the OB54 (2026-06-23) announcement explicitly states that Bermuda 2.0 and Alpine were removed from the game. So the list above is “map names that have appeared in the material”, not “the currently open map pool”. For the difference and how to correct it, see Map changes and the OB54 correction.

Evidence level: Global reference — Map names and landmark descriptions come from the global official map page and announcements, not the India client; whether the India client includes these maps is unverified.

Evidence level: Historical version — Alpine was removed in OB54; this page keeps its landmark record only as historical material.

Solara: a port city and the rail system

The official map blurb describes Solara as a port city with a winding coastline, connected across the whole map by a rail system; the map release announcement further describes several areas:

Landmark Key points of the official description
The Hub A symmetrical research facility whose mirrored rails are the main structure, usable to move quickly to combat positions
Studio A film-set themed area; two steam trains run toward each other through the centre, creating combat terrain opportunities
Bloomtown Curving flower streets and redbud trees; the originally steep straight roads were changed into S-shaped bends
Eco Drain A sewage treatment plant with interlocking yellow pipes and hidden routes to explore; the official note warns that enemies may be hiding inside the pipes
Riders Club An easter-egg/interactive area with a horse statue
Delta Isle Has an underground secret room
TV Tower Has a Kelly Show set; the announcement notes that event tokens can be collected here during the anniversary event
Funfair Officially listed as one of the dynamic weather landmarks

The official map page also lists points such as Waterfall, Riders Club, Funfair, Windmill, Delta Isle, Aquarium, Eco Drain, TV Tower, Bayside, Bloomtown, Studio, The Hub, Archway and Casa Vista. These names can be used as map navigation names, but that directory page gives no per-point function description for most of them — so do not invent a purpose for Waterfall or Aquarium.

Bermuda: areas named and changed in patch notes

Bermuda’s landmark material is fragmentary: there is no official “Bermuda landmark master table”; what can be confirmed are the areas that past announcements touched on.

Area Announcement record Validity
Peak The highest point of Bermuda; the rework announcement says the area changed building layouts, raised loot density and quality, and adjusted terrain height to increase fighting space around it Historical version
Clock Tower, Katulistiwa, Factory, Peak The Winterlands announcement lists them as frost-rail areas, where you can move fast along the rails and fight on them Historical version
Mill, Clock Tower The 2025 announcement added revival points; the same adjustment removed the revival point at Kota Tua Historical version
Rim Nam Village, Mill The announcement added player launchers Historical version
Hangar The announcement moved nearby vending machines inside this area Historical version
Bullseye The 2019 announcement marks it as a new Bermuda area; the same announcement introduces Hot Zone as the area that spawns high-tier supplies Historical version

How to read this table: every row corresponds only to “this is how it was at the time of a given announcement”. Facilities such as revival points, player launchers and vending machines are the easiest things for later patches to move, so any citation must carry the announcement date; never write “Bermuda’s revival point is at Mill”.

Evidence level: Historical version — Each row above is valid only for its announcement date; after OB54, Bermuda’s terrain and interactions have changed further, and the current state needs checking against the client.

How far can the other maps be confirmed?

  • Purgatory: the official release announcement confirms it went live and explains that Zipline is used for fast movement. Beyond that, this batch of sources has no landmark-level description.
  • Kalahari: officially described as having distinctive landmarks, containing story clues and dense combat activity, but landmark functions are not explained one by one. Anyone wanting to write a Kalahari landmark guide must first add a first-hand source.
  • Farmtopia (NeXTerra): the carousel and the second-floor moving platform are activated interactive elements.
  • Alpine – Blue Ville, Rye, Dock: the announcement says new player launchers were added near these zones, usable for fast repositioning. Alpine was removed in OB54, so this line is a historical record only.

What is the current rotation, and does the India client include these maps?

There is no ready answer, only items pending verification. The source states explicitly that “the current rotation, whether the India edition includes each point, and each point itself need testing”. Three things can be done:

  1. Check the latest patch notes for map additions or removals (OB54 did write a removal).
  2. Check the maps and modes actually listed in the in-game map selection screen.
  3. Enter the map on the India client to confirm whether landmarks are still in their original positions.

Also, the ranked map is not permanently fixed: a 2023 patch put Purgatory back into ranked and temporarily moved Kalahari out, and later patches added Platinum V and Diamond V to refine the season reset. So a “ranked map list” must be tied to a specific season and cannot be written as a generic list. That timeline is in Versions and events archive.

Evidence level: Unverified — Which maps the India client currently opens, the map pool of each mode, and landmark positions and facilities all need item-by-item confirmation on the client.

Which fields should a map guide record?

Field What to record
Applicable mode BR / ranked / special mode, written separately
Flight path and spawn area Direction of the plane’s route, the range you can drop to
Key place names Use official point names, with the English original
Buildings and cover Enterable buildings, usable cover, positions good for holding an angle
Elevation difference High ground, routes you can overlook, climbing paths
Loot spots High-density and low-traffic zones, noting whether they depend on an event
Vehicles Spawn locations and available types
Revival points Location, and whether they change with the version
Shops Location and what can be bought
Common routes Rotation routes and segments with frequent fights
Risks Exposure points, directions you can be pinched from, event makeover effects
Test date Written together with the client version

The last field is the one most often skipped. Maps get temporarily reworked by events: during the Fire Kickoff event, for example, Factory on Bermuda was turned into a football pitch, and whether it returns to normal after the event needs separate checking. For the rework rules of special modes, see Special modes.

Landmark names are not gameplay mechanics

The official map page gives point names; only announcements give mechanics. Mixing the two produces a common error: treating a name that appeared on a directory page as “there is cover here, there is loot here, this is a good drop”. In this batch of sources only points explicitly described by an announcement have a recorded use, such as Eco Drain’s hidden routes, Studio’s facing trains and The Hub’s mirrored rails; the other point names can only serve as navigation words.

Map images have boundaries too: the source advises checking licensing and preferring self-made explanatory images that can be published legally. This page cites no official images. For the criteria deciding what counts as “officially stated” and what only counts as “pending testing”, see Research methodology.

Sources and limitations

Official sources:

Unverified items:

  • The India client’s current map pool, the rotation of each mode, and whether it includes maps such as Solara, Kalahari, Purgatory and NeXTerra.
  • The current appearance and facility state of each Solara landmark on the India client.
  • The current locations of each Bermuda revival point, player launcher and vending machine.
  • Loot density, vehicle spawns and shop contents at each landmark: the sources do not provide them and this page does not fill them in.
  • The source and licensing of map images are unverified, so this page uses no images.
